Cars You Once Had And Miss But Not A Mopar

I had a 76 Camaro from 1988 to 2001. I never was able to make it really fast though...I had to keep the engine smog legal but the suspension was set up for great handling. I never autocrossed it but I should have. It was a really fun car and replacement parts were everywhere!

I miss my dad's '63 Vette. I learned how to drive a 4-speed in it. He sold it about 10+ years ago. Wish I could have bought it, but since my knees can't bend, driving it is impossible.

1960 Rambler American. Not a muscle car by any means, but the front seats folded all the way down to make a comfortable bed!

I had a 89 Probe, never had a problem with it.

inherited a 88 Olds Cutlass Calais, Quad 4, never had a problem, rock hit the timing chain cover, cracked it, killed it

91 Ford F150 XLT Lariat, long bed super cab 4x4, that truck went anywhere, rammed a 72 Chevy wagon that ran a red light in front of me, totaled both

Still wish I had my 1975 Monte Carlo, ranks in the top 3 best cars I've had.

3 of us rolled one violently, in a farm field, drunk on 100 proof vodka............ I was in the back seat, we all crawled out a window hole and staggered away.......

pretty sure that's when I went sour on drinking

Lol, haven’t had a liquid screwdriver since 1968!

The best answer I can come up with is a Mitsubishi, but it was "badged" a Chrysler Conquest Tsi...so although Mitsubishi built it, Chrysler badged it, but that's the best I can do. My 82 Collectors Edition Corvette was ok, but the Tsi was awesome.
Small stock turbo but increased boost, 3" exhaust, and a number of other mods.
14.35 @ 97 mph in the 1/4 mile.

68 Detomaso Mangusta !! i found one in L.A Meany years ago at a Body Shop, my buddy bought it for $21K, BadAss Car Foresure !!
Yep, badass & not for the feint of heart. Mine was 70, 8MA-1148. One of the 50 domestic cars with flip up headlights, I fixed mine in grille nacelle. Put 10K miles on in 2 years.

Here is a video of me leaving a R/T Charger at the tree like he was asleep. Another 60 ft and he would have beat me, but...
The "screetch" you hear are my tires spinning a little off the line and on 1-2, and 2-3 gear shifts.

I know I'll probably get roasted for saying this but I think the Rivys had one of the best looking interiors and dahes ever made. All of the chrome and cockpit styling was so cool!
Who the hell can't love a 63-65 Riviera?? Exceptional cars!! And the door skins, what a hoot! Need to work on regulator assembly in door? Just wrench off the acorn nuts & pop off the door skin, and voilà, full access to the guts.
I had a 68 Riv, for a boat anchor, it was a very stable car that sat in the groove well & loved to be pushed with cornering pressure.

Ya they sure did look sweet! Not b body nice but still cool :p

I bought my first running car in 1979. It was a fire engine red 1969 Mustang coupe. It had a mildly done 289 and automatic. Absolutely ZERO bottom end but if you got the revs up it really went. I used to do block long burn outs and sounded like a pro stock car doing it. Sadly, I sold it in 1983. It was honestly the best sounding car EVER until my buddy got his '71 Super Bee 383 going last year.

Use to be my grandfather's car, was my first car and it' been in the family from 85 till this past summer. The legendary grey fox, my 1985 so Camino
