Roadster Shop building a 1968 Charger

I agree with you on the the front valance I really like the exaggerated indention's on the hood and the rear valance looks pretty cool too.

They sure do have some serious fabrication skills, the work is amazing!

I like it, not the same old build
not sure I'd do all the mods but it looks great in the renederings

For all of the criticism I spewed about the green 69 Charger at the SEMA show, I am quite happy to see a custom type build that looks great. The front valance looks amazing. I like the elimination of the drip rails, the cowl panel grille, the quarter panel end caps and the big gaps between the bumpers and the body. I look forward to seeing the final product.

Very tastefully done so far. Top notch workmanship . Lots of talent in that shop for sure.

I like it except I can't ever like rubber band tires on a (former) muscle car. It's not necessarily bad, it's just not a muscle car look. There's other bodies that they could be using for so called "pro touring". Corvettes, for example.

If you want one of our cars to handle like a new Honda even you have to get rid of the 70's tech BFG T/A tires and get something modern. Like BFG Rival S and they have some side wall in an 18" size. Look at the 275 or 315, not rubber band but still shorter.

But you get new Honda handling by buying a new Honda. You don't get MOPAR power in a Honda by putting a Hemi or Six-Pac in a Civic. I'm not trying to stir sh!t, and as I read my posts it seems I am even to me, but I'm not. I'm just a MOPAR guy and I love them as they are. Unless they have rubber band tires.

That power don't you any good on the twisty back road and grandma in her mini van out handles you. If you drive at 55 in a 75 to the car show T/A's are good.

Love everything about the build, nothing overly crazy looking just some nice enhancements.

That thing is amazing, not a real big fan of the huge speed bump going down the middle bump get it’s necessity. That’s probably a 500,000 build...

So, what gauge steel do you think they are using to do all of that? These kind of builds are what inspires me to do the amature mods that I do. I think it's dynamite.

im thinking mostly 20 gauge, i know some body panels are 22 gauge, so interior parts would be wither 20 or 18 gauge

I love seeing what kind of ideas people have and the builds are amazing. I'm not in to cookie cutters .if something looks good then credit is due. Not criticism

True hot rodder's are not one dimensional, they admire and appreciate any car that exhibits skill, ingenuity, and creativity.

That is slick. But as far as actual "Charger"? It looks like outer body shell...package shelf...rear valence...and headlight support? Very cool looking, definitely going to be a strong runner...but definitely full-custom there.
