Anybody familiar with stripmasters out of florida? They were recommended to me by a friend that lives in Florida but since Im not from that area I thought I would ask. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

We're about s are they I know alot of car clubs in FL. Someone is bound to know them . I have a ductless blaster guy right up the road so unless I can find a dip tank that's the way I'll probably go.

Also why FL. ? Isn't there any places near you I'd look for a dipper!

Not trying to start a controversy, I’m not a body guy. Paint and body guys that I’ve talked to say they won’t touch a dipped car. They say you can never neutralize all the chemical that gets into body seams. Anybody have experience with this?

Restoration Specialists in Wisconsin. They can dip the car and all removeable's and then have it dipped in e-coat. Did my 63 Dodge and it came back like new AMD sheetmetal. You can also have them dip the car, do your metal work then have it e-coated. I can tell you the e-coat is inside and out. Removed the stock rear shock crossmember and it was the same inside as out. So nice to work on!

the old acid dipped race car bodies were supposedly an issue. maybe this is why media blast is used a lot?

If a media blaster doesn't have experience working with sheetmetal they can warp a nice car. I didnt want to dip the body shell until I found out they could dip it in e-coat. You can't spray primer everywhere but dipping it in a tank gets it inside and out. Dipping has advanced quite a bit since the acid dipping days. A good place has a neutralizing tank the shell goes in then gets washed. This is the only pic of my car I have on my phone but I will post more in the evening if anyone wants to see the job they did.

Were straying a little off subject. I guess their name is causing the misunderstanding. They use glass and plastic media. I was wondering in reference to their quality of restoration work if anybody has seen it or knows any one who has used them.

Gotcha. You talk to Ken Moser at Finer Details? They are right in Indiana.

Anybody know if there are any dippers in Indiana?
