IF you had a chance, would you take a 1968 OR 1969 L-88 ?

Of course this is hypothetical, however "WE" do have some strict adherence to MOPAR OR No Car advocates here on this forum.
Question is:
Would you take a B-Body Hemi Car OR a 1968-1969 L-88 ??

nope....nothing wrong with the Bow Tie, just not my thing.

vettes..giant piece of tupperware plastic...no thanks! haha maybe if it was a pre-67 vette i would consider it...

Yeah, the UBER rare L-88 is a Rare car, Race car, fully ready to go....
But, As 'dave dodge" mentioned, a sweet A-990 would be a nice car in the garage.

Those L-88s are special though....
I'm NOT a Chevy guy, just saying.

I woundnt give a dime for a truck load of corvettes. To common. Nothing special about.

I do like the the looks of the mid 60's coupes though but having never owned one, gotta say Mopar!

Nice looking Vette, but I have zero desire to own one. I hear that your left arm can never get comfortable because the armrest is almost against your rib cage.

And no room to work on anything on them except the wheels, lol. But if you had one, then you could walk around with “The Elite”!

While i wouldnt mind having an old vette...choosing between any vette and any B body ... the Mopar will win everytime. If a good deal popped up on a vette i might bite just to play around with one and sell it again. I owned 1 Ferd in my lifetime so owning 1 vette wouldn't be the worst thing i ever owned...

Jeez ‘ski’, can’t even read one post before another pops on!! Great question. I always worried about any car that had fresh air coming thru the hood from the factory.

Whoops, above post should’ve went to the 383/400/396 thread.

Ski, When my brother died last year he left 2 muscle cars. The 65 Hemi Belvedere automatic and a 70 LS6 4 speed Chevelle..You know which one I brought home ?

To a GM guy, or Vette guy specifically an L-88 is "the one".
To everyone else in the car world, a HEMI is downright legendary.
HEMI trumps everything else

Both are nice. I would expect to pay lots of money for each. If i was in the right mood and i could get a deal I'd sell the Vette since they just do not seem to excite me. Too much corporate influence in the design.
