Hey all. I mostly lurk here, but figured I would introduce myself. Hi! I am low on projects at this time, but still have my '69 Coronet R/T that will never be finished, I suppose. Totally finished, anyway, how many really are? It was a solid western body and had NOTHING on it when I got it. No drivetrain, c-body rear end stuffed under it, power steering box and manual steering column. With no center chunk in the rear end it didn't roll well, it didn't steer at all, and of course it had no brakes. So it was a very large paperweight. Someone had cut a hole in the floor for a stick, had put pedals in it, and I had no build sheet, fender tag, or any options that originally came on it, so I did it my way.
440/Hemi 4 speed/3.54 Dana, rally dash, Ramcharger hood, buckets, ect. Lotsa money and oodles of good parts in it, and I am nearing roadworthiness... It may be ugly as sin when I drive it for the first time, but I won't care a whole lot!
Anyone around Columbus area, feel free to give me a holler. Or anywhere for that matter.
Darin

Welcome Darin. I am originally from Canton, couldn't deal with the white stuff after going into the service years ago. Good to have you!

@Hemi, yes coming 'out' is quite liberating... lol.
@68, I don't think much of the white stuff either, but my family and my job are still hanging around here, so here I am...
@Matts, I live real close to Brice. Maybe since cruising sucks there now I should move to Heath, always a little late.
@satellite, sorry, never seen the car. I will ask around though...
Thanks to the rest of you, too...

ohiomopar welcome to FBBO forum nice project.

Hi Darin. I'm in Columbus and the proud owner of two cars, one Mopar and one Ford. I know, odd combination. The Mopar is a 66 Coronet Hemi car. Glad to talk sometime.
