requirements before being able to post For Sale ads

I had 2 rare Yamaha's RZV500R's japan only bikes, I was a member of the rzrd500 web site for 5 years from 97 till 2002. Last year I was digging for some mopar parts and found some RZ parts.
So I posted them on the site for sale because they are so rare and hard to find. The guys acted like 67coronet440 and were basically throwing rocks at me saying delete the post del, del, del, because I was basically a new member. I just wanted to get the parts to someone that needed them. After a few days of back and forth BS they pulled my ad and I took the parts to the scrap yard. This is what is so great about a,b,c,e,bodysonly web sites, all the mopar guys are great and I am so glad to be a member. Thanks to all.
And for the special guy if you look at the parts in a good picture you will make a educated decision on buying.

Let me help you understand mr 6 pack,
What I don’t have a problem with is new guys signing up and posting a proper ad with all the necessary info, including a price which is required per site rules,

I do have a problem with new guys signing up and posting ads like the link I posted above. No pics, no price, no info, and no reply’s. If you’re going to sign up and peddle your **** here, do it right. Do you understand?

And for the special guy if you look at the parts in a good picture you will make a educated decision on buying.

Take a look at my trading profile, I do not need pointers on buying or selling.

Feel free to pm me with anymore questions.

I do.. And when you see an ad like that, please, report it so the mods can deal with it. Often, its a member who isn't familiar with the rules. Might not even be new. I've seen established members who don't follow the rules -

A real scammer will follow all the rules to get on the site then scam you so keep the rules to a minimum and keep the site
the best to visit for everyone

When I tore apart my 70 Road Runner, it had C body exhaust manifolds on it. So I joined FCBO and put them up for sale cheap so someone could get them. I'd like to think it worked out well for both parties. I did make it clear in my ad why I just joined, and that I was an active member of FBBO.

Bottom line is I agree that there could be good and legitimate reasons why someone would join FBBO and immediately sell some parts. I am OK with that, although I agree it would mean that, as a buyer, I would be more cautious...

Just my $0.02

You got it

Hmmm. Getting to sound like it'll be more difficult to post a for sale ad, than getting a voting card.
