Sure does. I spent countless hours polishing an intake like that. Pretty happy with how it came out:

There are a few Mopar guys involved with the show. I got a tour of the shop when my buddys car was on the show. The entire RTM shop is a pretty interesting place.
 
Lots and lots of sanding!

That and then some more sanding. And swearing. And taping your fingers. And more sanding. And sanding.

Started with like 200 grit and finished it with 2000 wet paper. Get a small sanding tool for the ridges and dips around the runners. They're a pita.

Powder coated sheet metal that covers the firewall does a lot for the appearance of that engine bay.
