This is for my 68 Satellite -Roadrunner tribute car project. It will be raised just slightly from stock height front and back. I want to get my new wheels and tires, going with 15X7" Keystone Klassics by Cragar. I think the backspace is 3 3/4" Recommended tire size is from 205 to 215 with 225 as the max. I want all 4 tires to be the same size. What size would you recommend to look right in the wheel wells, and not have any interference-rubbing. The size most popular , wins. Thanks for your reply...................................MO

235s all around is my vote on a 7" rim.

Agree, if you don't want to go a little bigger in the rear.
Mine is 225 front on 7" width rim, 275 rear on an 8" rim. Seems about perfect to me, makes it easy on/off work.

Is there a reason why only 7" wide, seams really narrow?

This is a nice combo for these cars. No rubbing issues at all.

Round, lol!!!

245-60-15 in front and 275-60-15 rear.

For a 275, you’d need to run a 15x8.

Get some dubs and those plastic decals you can glue to the fender.. 24DUB :)

If you're determined to go with the same size on all four, the 235/60's are a good choice.
But the combo of 235/60 in front and 255/60 in the rear look better. Trust me.

No particular reason. Just felt that 6" was too narrow since it won't be stock " wide oval polyglas" and that 8" might be a little wide on the front . All 4 tires the same for sure.....................Thanks, ..............................MO

This car will be a stock 318 with 904 cruiser. 1 spare tire same size. I agree , the larger tires on the back look better, but I have Brutus, the 64 Dodge for that look , and the burn outs! We plan to do a lot of highway miles with the Satty. ....................MO

Gotcha. I've got 8" wide rims on my front and they fit very well. Not trying to sway you just putting it out there so your well informed.

Stay away from the polyglas. Yes at one time I thought they were great tires. But after a set of radials and them going back to polyglass I could not wait to discard them and go back to the radials.
If you want all four corners the same 235-60-15 on 15x7.

I could not agree more on the recommendations for 235/60-15 on 15x7 all around. On a great looking wheel I might add !

It has to be radials, I have had them all--remember cold "flat spot" nylon tires and how they thumped till they got warmed up? I really do/did like the looks of those wide oval polyglas tires that was on my new 68 Roadrunner, liked the tread pattern and the more squared of shoulders. Doubt you can get radials with those kind of shoulders. ...............................MO

I am about ready to order the Keystone Klassics. The lug nuts for them is for right hand threads only. The Satty is not here, but I think one side is left hand threads. I will probably have to change those studs to right hand threads, I think wheel studs are 1/2" - 20 thread ? ..........................MO
