Anyone know if there is anyone left that can repair the old cassette/recorder/player? Mine plays but won't take up the cassette tape while playing.

99% of the time, something like that indicates a drive belt problem. The rubber breaks, gums up or stretches. A bit of labor but very inexpensive to repair.
