Where do I start searching on line? I have decided on four 235 - 60 - R 15. Radials. High performance not needed. They will be blackwalls or blackwall out. I would like as smooth a sidewalls as I can find ( easy to clean with no ridges) non aggressive tread ( never in snow) wider tread and squarish corners a plus. Name brand not necessary . In the $80 to $120 price range. Any recommendations?.........................MO

If you don't mind putting the blackwall out I've been really happy with my Cooper Cobra's for all kinds of weather conditions, or my Kumho's on my Doba for dry (at least once they warm up).

I get mine from a local wholesaler, try that route. I think pep boys carries Cooper, a good choice. Or tire rack, maybe.

Check your local tire store. You have checked the prices and know what they should be. Call and make an appointment and get pricing right on the phone.

Been doing a lot of on line searching, and called a big tire store in Omaha.
found that 235 60 15 is not very common these days. Very few are in stock , and several manufacturers don't even make them anymore. Summit is about the best source
I didn't check Jegs yet.
Pretty sure I am going with Summit Mastercraft Avenger GT #5350. They have the section and tread width and smooth sidewall I want--raised white letters on one side , and I will put blackwalls out. $106.97 + 9.75 ( extra shipping gharge) ...................MO

When I got my coopers I bought them through Firestone actually a couple bucks cheaper than Summit. They should have a ‘low price guarantee’. Worth checking on special orders!

Try Discount Tire Direct saved $60 bucks over jegs or summit on 2 tires. The tires weren't old from sitting in a warehouse.
