The AC/heater box showed up. Definitely not needed during these single digit temps, but definitely needed so that I can fabricate the mounts and figure out the line routing.

Where did you get the a/c-heater box?
It’s from Classic Auto Air. It’s their street rod cooler III. Probably weighs 15-18lbs. I’m going to run it with their control that bolts in place of the original. It won’t cool as well as the larger unit intended for these cars, but my placement of the dash bar limited my options.

Very cool build you have here sir, you got me locked in. can’t wait for more updates!

Did you pick a cam already, I do not remember seeing anything regarding cam selection.

I had a Bullet solid roller ground for it. I ended up using it in another NA hemi. I was very impressed as it is on track to do 1.7hp per cube NA, which should make 4hp per cube in this combo. Here’s the cam card.

Looks good!
Looks killer!
Thanks guys. Those wheels belong to a buddy of mine. We were using them for mockup to determine backspace on mine. I’m going to order double beadlock versions with a 6.5 backspace. He’s got 17” fronts coming so I might have to put this thing on the ground soon to get a real good look. Been busy working on everything but my car, lol.

Compressor will be a low mount serp belt SD7 on the passenger side with the alternator right above it. It will all attach to my motor plate. K-frame in my car is one that I built patterned after the RMS Alterktion. I have no idea who made the one in that 65. It’s not my car.
