I know there were a ton of these 1973 Dodge Charger SE cars built. I am looking at buying this one and need some opinions on value? It is pretty much all original with the 400ci 2bbl. Automatic with rallye dash. It did come with the opera windows and 3/4 vinyl roof. Mostly surface rust from being sun baked.
Thanks,
Al

3rd gens are slowly coming up in value. That said, current condition from those pictures, I'd say between 3500-5000

If the cowl (hard to fix) is solid and the fenders (hard to find) are good...

...assuming the quarters and dutchman are good (...and the deck lid)...

...and it runs...

...then 3500 isn't bad.

I wouldn't give 5K, but I would ask it for that car if it ran and drove and the frame was solid.

Factory RWL tires

Lynch Road inspection tag

Hey Al, that's a good looking car. Based on the condition and completeness, its worth an easy $8500. Like someone mentioned earlier; these are gaining value. I'd scoop that up STAT!

$3500 car ! Fully restored your lucky if you see $12000 ,cost you $15-20 to fix! There not gaining value people are just asking to much for them I've purchased many a car similar for $1500-2K don't get screwed by the car auction bubble! Look on eBay at what finished cars are selling for!
(Not asking!!!)

Nice color combo helps

Buckets and slap stick helps

Big block helps a little

2 barrel hurts.

4K tops if it runs and drives.

People are starting to get wise to the fact that if you can't afford an E body, you can have the same car from the front seats forward, for a LOT less, and get a usable back seat and trunk to boot (punny).

8500 is way too high. MAYBE, MAYBE if it was an R/T with the power bulge hood and had a 440/4 speed. But even then, that's a stretch

No such thing as a 1973 Charger R/T unless it was MFG in Venezuela (right Nacho?).

But still $8500.00 is a stretch.
