Hi All,
In rebuilding the '66 426 hemi Petty Belvedere we ordered all new Moog B body front end parts then discovered that the set up with the hemi k member was built out with larger C body components. Found an article that says you could order a heavy duty suspension with the C body parts but throwing it out to the masses as they do seem to fit. Does this seem accurate? Was this a big block option? The 10" tires on the front barely rub on both set ups.

I know u can use the c body tie rods...thats what I'm doing ?

I use the C Body tie rod ends too. Using them is especially beneficial when using big tires on our cars. The C Body tie rods are 11/16 inch compared to the B body tie rods that are 9/16 inch, it does not seem like that much difference, but that more then doubles the bending resistance of the tie rod shank according to Andy Finkbeiner.

NASCAR used C body stuff but street cars didn't. Just depends what you're working on and who has worked on it before.
