Well after ordering my seat covers and door panels back in mid Dec. I am yet to receive my parts. I will have to say this company's service sucks worse than anyone I have ever dealt with. I placed the order, no mention of the stuff not being in stock. Called a couple weeks later to ask when it would ship. I was told they had to make them, parts would ship early Jan. and that I should have received an email informing of that. Never got any email except the one confirming my order. Called again early Jan. was told they had no record of my first call and that the parts wouldn't be ready until early Feb. Called them today and again was told that they never spoke to me either time I had called and that now it would Feb. 27th before they would ship. Now going to have to cancel my appointment with the upholstery shop for the second time! This is some truly piss poor service. I sure hope the product is better than the customer service is

ALWAYS sad to hear somebody having trouble with parts. I've had nothing but GREAT service and luck with Legendary! Hope it turns around for you!

Won't be any turn around for me. I bought from them years ago with good results. But this will be the last I ever buy from them. Already ordered the convertible top elsewhere because of the lousy service and lies

Always date, time and whom you talked to.
Who knows you may have been talking to the janitor.
Other wise you never made the call if it can not be traced to someone.

I've had a shitty deal with them also, they eventuality righted their wrong but took some back and forth. Order front and rear seat covers for my coronet, after getting the front together I noticed the stitching on one of the seat backs was off. All of the other lines were dead even, this one in the middle was 1/4" off. Very noticeable. I emailed pictures, called, called again only to be told i put the seat backs on the opposite sides ! Like that would fix the stitching! After 2 weeks of talkng with them they finally mailed out a replacement. I think I'd give them another shot in the future though, the covers are nice quality.

They've always had to have seat covers manufactured. It takes a while, but they have always been an exact match. PUI make a reasonable cover...personally I'll wait.

My complaint isn’t so much with having to wait, it’s with being repeatedly lied to about how long the wait will be

When you get them, I would say that you should be able to install the covers yourself.
I've done it.
If I've done it, anyone can.

I'm sure they have a hangover from the Christmas sale they ran, sold more than expected and now delivery suffers. That's their problem not yours.

I ordered an entire interior in mid-Oct and I had everything within the lead times they gave. Everything trickled in by the first week in Dec.

Your right though, no lead time on invoices or any non-solicited information. I locked into the guy I ordered from and used email to communicate. Makes for a nice paper trail. I only had one part come in wrong and I was able to exchange and get the right one. They even credited me a couple bucks back for return shipping.

I would use them again because the product is really good and lets face it, they basically have a lock on the market.

I’ve done covers too. Just not sure about doing it with repop foam, that will be new to me. Car does have to go in for the convertible top anyhow so may just let them do it all

I ordered door panels in January and was told upfront I will not get then till March,do to production run. I have white interior.

I also ordered some interior panels in January during their "Xmas Sale" extension; was told a 2 month wait for a production run. After reading the above experiences, I may give them a buzz for a status-check...

Absolutely GREAT advice. Excuses evaporate if you have that info...

Ive had good luck with them. They also had to make the panel for me and i waited awhile but did get it eventually. The key is I've found is to think ahead. If you are ready to do your interior and now order you could very well have a couple of months wait. Order well ahead, maybe 6 months at least before your ready to do the job, do inspect the product when it arrives. This worked for me. I learned a lesson with my gauge cluster. Mine was in very poor condition. It was basically useless and i bought what i thought was a nice one. It looked decent but a few of gauges didn't work and some other issues. Now i was stuck. Moparnation who has been there for advise turned me to a outfit in Florida. I figured a long wait but the gentleman asked me if the gauges were holding me up and i told him the truth. He actually did the cluster in under a month and it was beautiful. I think it was Performance Graphics I'm not sure though. Anyway thats what worked for me was getting parts in order well before they were needed.

Like I said earlier in this post, it's not the fact that I'm having to wait that makes me mad, it's being lied to repeatedly that I have a problem with. Along with not being told that I would have a long wait when they were collecting my money

I had the same issues with them about 10 years ago and wont buy directly from them anymore. I buy all my Legendary stuff through Dantes now. He has awesome customer service and is cheaper than buying direct.

They don't stock a lot of items and they are built to order.....my last order with them I got an email confirmation and expected timeframe. Which they met....

One cover had a bad stitch and they made another relatively quick and sent to me....

For us we don't have another option depending on year make and model. Their covers are nice but their door panels are cheaply made in comparison to older panels I got from them.....

Their number one biggest issue is Customer Service.....you have to exclude people that just order and get a product and that's it.....It is when you have a problem, issue, or question the communication SUCKS!

So when you say PISS POOR service I agree......but what other option do you have? That's the problem.....

The last GTX I did, I had a local shop stitch up everything and it came out great. But I was looking at a 6 month wait to get the car in and thought this would be an easier option
