First&best word that comes to mind is- tenacious. It soaks in, migrates a little & should stay put for quite awhile especially if it doesn’t see much water spray. John Deere dealers all carry it, it must be pretty good.

we use it at work on gears and chains on augers that push tons of ice . we do once a year and it stands up better than any grease.nothing compares for sized bolts

Is this the same stuff the military used call kosmoline. They used it on storied equipment. I was issued an M-14 in boot camp that was storied with it. What a bitch to get off.
