He tried to get me to walk way out behind his shop. I told him the ground was kinda soft. He said not to worry & keep walking. Now I think there's quick sand back there. He seems surprised when I came back from walking.

FWIW,when I installed an aluminum driveshaft,it would not fit through the bolt together loop like the one you have. My crew chief {LOL} sliced and diced it to make it fit. Think he cut almost 3 lbs off:lol:

I need a loop for my 70 V-Code Roadrunner. 5 speed Passon Performance a855, drag radials, and a new 4.10 ring and pinion. I had Spicer USA made HD u-joints installed a few months ago, but I'd like the loop for peace of mind.

My driveshaft loop is just like yours. I thought i could install it in short time---WRONG ! Took about 1/2 day to get it to fit right......................................MO

I finally got some time to work on her. Removed the stock steel bumper. 70 pounds. Started mocking up the brackets for the glass bumper
 
Some parts came in. A Dash cap, polyurethane K frame bushings
