Direct Connection aluminum finned valve covers?

How about a little cut and paste for an idea how the DC might look compared to the MP?

First, thanks for the mentions guys!!
Secondly, I have one of those four cylinder DC covers here in line right now -- the first I've seen -- that will be getting a custom work over.

Those are becoming sort of famous, eh? She does such nice work.
However, like I've said, I'm about over those "Mopar Performance" ones.

I guess also that Direct Connection cast aluminum big block valve covers never were made.
I've spent way too much time looking for them online.
Oh well... thanks just the same, everyone.

Checked through all DC catalogs and no cast aluminum covers w/ DC logo for BB. I do have both the blue anodized DC covers & a set of black crinkle M/T cast covers available if interested.

I was wanting something like this as well but never found anything. My plan is to get the smooth cast aluminum valve covers that Summit Racing sells, put a mask of the DC lettering on, paint the covers, pull the mask, and then clear coat them. Maybe have it powder coated instead. I know it's not finned, but it would be different. Only problem is a review says they only clear stock rocker gear. May try it on cheap fabricated covers for rocker clearance.

A couple other options are vinyl decals embedded or placed on top of the finish, or presenting your idea to a talented CNC / water jet technician. All it takes is some imagination ...

...and cubic dollars, of course. :moparsmiley::usflag:

Call me old school, but I never really cared for the change to Mopar Performance from Direct Connection. Of course the same could be said for those who remember Hustle Stuff which predated Direct Connection.

I remember the “Hustle Stuff!” It spoke volumes in a simply stated pair of words.
The “Direct Connection” is wht should have stayed.
“MoPar Performance “ should have just been stickers and sport wear.

Sure there were...for other engines. This one is for the 2.2 or 2.5 four cylinder for example.

I'd be willing to cut the direct connection logo section out of 2 of these to get what I want. Just weld them into an old set of Cal Customs or Mopar Performance or similar to create the covers that Ma Mopar should have made.
This would be perfect for the build I'm planning.
