Need new relays .

I am finding myself needing to aquire new relays for the infamous head light system. It would be the ones behind the glove box as my best guess.
Didn't someone sell a kit on this forum at one time?
I am hoping this is the quick fix, if not any suggestions would be appreciated.

What kind of car? There is a member on here that sells a kit for that, but they don't go behind the glove box. Not typically anyways.

By the way,... If you haven't heard of these kits. I put one of his 2 headlight kits in my Barracuda. I can attest to the quality and ease of installation. They do a nice job of taking the current load off the original wiring.

There are 3 relays for them on my 67 behind the glove box. A 30 amp fuse behind the drivers kick panel as well. A383wing on here sells the relays which are plug and play I believe.

Relays should be a simple auto parts item, just take it with you to match it up. Also relay kits for headlights aren't rocket science, extremely simple to do yourself and to troubleshoot. Start with the troubleshooting before buying parts. First check to see if there's power supplied to the switched side of the relay. Next test to make sure it's getting 12V to the relays solenoid, when testing this also make sure you've got a good ground to the other side of the relay coil. If everything checks out there look at your headlight ground.

Simply studying the relays illustration usually on the side is all you need to understand it. 12v and a ground energizes a solenoid that pulls in a normally open switch, one side to the battery and the other switched side to the headlights. 85 and 86 are the ground and switched power to energize the relay, 87 and 30 are the switching contact... doesn't really matter which is battery supply and and which is the headlights. Hope this helps.

You cannot take the OE relays to auto part store and match them up, no parts store can cross these
