Hello. Have a 72 Charger I'm starting to fix up. The R/H forward leaf spring mount is tore up pretty bad (car could probably tell some wild stories starting with the "Jim Beam" key tag).
I see AMD makes replacements for the E bodies P/N 865-1570-1R and 1L, will they work? These 71,72 B bodies seem to share alot of chasis parts with the E bodies. I would be willing to change both sides if needed. I also have a 74 Satellite parts car I can check when the snow melts, would that mount fit in the 72?

Be warned ... those are and absolute BITCH to remove and replace. Repair it if at all possible.

It looks like its gonna be a bitch. I doubt it can be repaired properly and the welding on the current "repair" is the worst I've ever seen. And I've seen some horiffic welding!

Just bringing post back to the top. Hoping someone might have some insight to the best way to go about repairing this.
