Radiator Question w/Pics-Big Block

Here are pics of the radiator pulled out of my 67 GTX. It is 26". Obviously replaced at some time in its life. It looks like its in very good shape.

I am doing a rebuild to a 505 stroker and trying to keep things as original as possible.

There are no markings on the top. If I send to GlenRay can they add the correct markings to this radiator or will they want me to buy a new one?

I will call them but wanted some thoughts. Thanks.

The numbers are stampings, so adding them would probably not be an option. It is probably an aftermarket unit from years back, when they still made metal replacements. I know GlenRay would probably have an original to restore and replace that unit, and it WILL BE like an original to the car, and even perform better than an OEM piece...

I had bob at glen ray build me a new radiator once from original mopar upper tanks that he has. I'm not sure about adding markings tho. Maybe he has a correctly marked tank where he could build you one. Probably be around 800 or 900. He's done three radiators for me

Can I somehow look inside this radiator in the pics above and tell if its a 3 core with 1" tubes? If so, what am I looking for?

You could grab a penlight and look down the filler and probably see them.
I'd imagine it will be approximately 3" thick in the fin area under the tank.

Sure, empty you can easily see unless it's really cruddy. But OEM copper/brass radiators don't have 1" tubes. That radiator is going to likely be 3 1/2" tubes with about a 9/16" spacing in between. That should be about 3" total core width as mentioned above.
