I literally stumbled upon a garaged, one owner, 1965 Coronet 500 with a 383, 4 speed and 98k miles, in excellent condition and it even has the original bill of sale and title. Is there any way to get a guesstimate on the value? Thanks for any help.

Do these help?

I agree with 68383GTS, Early B's seem to stay around the 25K range with a big block. 4 speed is a plus. Also the fact that it is a O.E. car. Looks good check for rust in the quarters and cowl. Also look under the dash. A buddy bought a 62 Dart and looked good from the out side but the inner cowl was badly rusted. That was found as soon as we looked under the dash to fix some wiring.

Engine compartment looks to be re-painted black from pics ? Was it just done to touch up, or was there repair needed ? It really looks like a Great car to pick up, if available...

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Welcome from Ohio, great find; can’t be too many 4-spd Coronet 500’s ever built?

Much sought after year and body style. In any condition.

What I do is consider could I purchase and restore one for the asking price. You might be able to if you did it all yourself. They are only original once. 20 to 25 grand is reasonable. Do the dance and start at 15 to 18 and see where it goes.

She's a beauty. You can always leave it as a true survivor. Not a bad option for a car like this
Agree, I had more than a few people say “don’t re-paint it”, well, the wife won’t ride in it unless “it looks good”. After 47+ yrs with her(only a little less than the car) I’m deferring to her, gotta keep the harmony going!

Will it be posted on here for sale in the near future?
