Welcome Rooster from another 69 Coronet RT owner. I've had mine since 1980.

Nice convertible...no good in the Netherlands with the shitty and rainy climate we have here. :(

Well thank you everyone. Here's some more rough pictures of the disassembly of the interior of the car. A bit like a time capsule for me. This was all stuff I did a few years ago when I got the car. I'll get up to the point of where it is now shortly.

Less than 7500 of these beauties were made. Highly subjective, and I am an owner. These lesser known brutes were a high water mark for Ma Mopar. How many here have had their cars called Chargers or Runners. Nobody knew what they were even back in the day. No badging on mine indicating "Coronet. When at the shop for windows the other day, one in three walking by took selfies. The 69 Coronet R/T is a bitchin brute.

Looks pretty solid to me!
Yeah the Coronet is a little "unknown" compared to the Charger or Roadrunner, makes sense with these "low" production numbers. (4810 auto R/T's in '69)
Indeed you don't see many with a Coronet badge on them.
I am happy mine turned out to be a real true R/T, knowing there will be not many of them left.

By the way, looking on your pictures...
Do you have a close up picture of the latch lever for the seat to fold it away? (preferably with the hinge cover removed)
I got stuck with installing them and can't figure out how it supposed to be installed.

Those dash wood grain pieces are VERY fragile. It looks like someone butchered the radio bezel.

Welcome too the party Rooster, from the Pacific Northwest. Experience is oft times the best teacher and it appears you are off to a great start. :moparsmiley:

Welcome to the site Rooster. You will fit in just fine around here. Sure wish my teenage boys showed interest in these old jalopies like you do............

One of the first Mopars I fell in love with was a 69 Coronet R/T B7 Jamaica blue with black top. I have 2 Super Bees but never an R/T. I still want that car!

Welcome Rooster, from North Carolina. Looks like you have a great project there. Congratulations.

I'll have to dig around to find some for ya. I have redone my seats already, and I have to say they are as comfortable as they are good looking.

I even went through the painstaking process of redoing the wires through the burlap covering. I can tell you that was a bit of a job
