'64 thing. not sure any production car came with them. think they were more of a nascar manifold and I believe the inner fender panel on the passenger side needs to be altered to use them.

very sweet parts . would make a great display on a maxwedge history thread .

put up some great books over the years , the dodge book of performance cars was based on the early wedges and 426 hemi mods of what was happening then . and the special addition hotrod on the dodge wedge performance mods from back then , take note that cover wedge is a four bolt rocker covers and dig that oil fiter can .

I always thought they were a unicorn part. I remember them from a Hot Rod cover where the engine was painted blue and orange , (?) but I've never seen them in real life, till now.

i was lucky enough to get this early blower intake for a b motor project . i believe its a cragar intake . #1 pic bds weld up .

Very cool pictures, only saw those manifolds once on a 64 Plymouth stage 111 max wedge. It was at a mopar meet in Salem Ohio 1995.

Yes, 64 only.

The inner fender "mod" was a factory deal. All 64 Dodge Max Wedges -- sedan and hardtop -- had that mod. Non MW cars did not. I believe Dodge intended to use them on the drag cars but the additional weight didn't offset the minimal performance gains.

you are correct the inner fender is different but only on the pass side here's a 64 dodge that's all original sheet metal notice the flat on the inner fender back by the firewall where theres a psi reg bracket mounted

I've never seen a set in the wild. They look like a piece of art, very heavy art. Thanks for the pictures!

Those Tri-Y Pictures that are now all over the internet, started out as the ones that i got from the owner of those manifolds.
He sent me those photos after i bought a Left side Tri-Y manifold from him back in the 1980's sometime.
He had the single leftie up for sale at the time, so i just bought that one, and held onto it, for years and years, until i eventually sold it off.
It went back East somewhere, i don't remember, and it has since changed hands a few times that i am aware of.
As far as i know, the guy still owns that pair of Tri-Y's.

that would be Al's car which is very nice correct car, notice the two grounding straps. I believe he bought from some guy on the east coast years ago that was very big into max wedge reproduction parts, for you guys that do Carlisle Al is usually set up by the grandstand & has a set or maybe a single for sale along with a few other rare items stop by & see him very nice guy.

Yeah, I knew it was Al something or other. Greg knows it off the top of his head.

Al got them off of eBay from a guy in FL. That's Al's car in the Mecum link I posted.

very nice original rarer than hens teeth parts..including that oil pan...heavier than all heck too..but Chrysler was very determined to kick every ones ***.....and hooker headers answer to that was the #5319 partial fender well headers...my pic shows a set of NOS coated units..extinct as well

Stage 3, are those hooker adjustable? Two inch tube, 3 1/2 collector? I've got a pair on my 62 that i bought at the OCIR swapmeet. Does that tell you how long ago?
