CNC Ported 318 Poly Heads

Excellent! Thank you very much.
(Special lifters? Dang! Back to reading the thread again. :( LOL! )

It'll be awhile before I get there. First things first and there's a line LOL!
4.25 arm with what ever bore size is needed to clean up the block.
2 blocks/sets of heads on hand.
I can do a sheet metal intake & custom headers without a problem.
Goal, Max acceleration & speed, 1/4 mile run
Car - '66 Charger, 727
Weight unknown

If both heads and Block check OK. The other will get a 4.0 arm.
Goal, street cruiser and bruiser.

Both can probably use the 1.5 just fine. The 1.6 is not out of the question. T&D have a part number for the 1.5 ratio?

I believe t&D 's part number is 8390 for the rocker arms and you specify the ratio you want.

Nice! We're currently making a special set of Poly pistons for a customer that will be in this year's Engine Masters Challenge.

Yes they did. Customer is School of Automotive Machinists (SAM of Texas). Click here https://www.facebook.com/CPCar on my works FB page and scroll down to October 2nd to watch the video of this engine on the EMC dyno. Put out over 580HP on the EMC dyno!

This is a really cool build! I just finished building a 349" poly with parts from Gary P. One of these days I want to build one like this.

Lookin' good, question - will an LA pan work on the Poly block?

yes, 318 and 340 pans work not the 360. I will be running the Milodon 31590.

Wonderful poly workmanship going on here!
Seen the Hinkles and the SAM Poly motors on the web and thinking of doing a 500hp Poly build too.
We already have a 400hp 402 poly with all parts supplies by the great man himself Gary P.!

Going to copy the Ovalport design and use the LS1 Victor intake.
I have here a set of (iron)Ovalport Mopar Bigblock heads from the famous Weslake Engineering UK shop to copy.
Shame they never made it into production like the infamous W2/W5's did?

Best wishes from John Hatchard England

what did you do to detail the valves and what shape, tulip, nail head etc
did you try 30 degree intake seat? (for engine masters type build)?
