My Wilwood Brake Calipers Keep Leaking Brake Fluid Where The brake Line Fittings Threads Into The Brake Calipers..

Any Suggestions?. Thanks

Did you change the brake lines? Sometimes a line will form to the brass seat in the old cylinder and take it's shape. When you put the old line in a new caliper it wont seat properly.

Hopefully your using Wilwood's flex lines. No guaranties with other brands.

I'm Using Russell Steel 1/8 Pipe Thread 45 Degree Adapters That I Threaded Into The Caliper And Attached My Flex Line To..Thanks

I am NOT an expert on brake lines..... but my first guess would be the fitting end isn't correct. Just guessing here, but maybe you need a flare or inverted flare end that seats in the caliper and your threads are correct, but not the very end of the line....totally a guess.

You can try tightening them, then loosen and tighten again. This works good with stainless steel lines, helps to form the flare to the seat.

On your calipers, if they are useing a copper washer, I've had new washers that were harder than the old ones and wouldn't seal. Ended up useing the softer old ones to get a good seal.

Good luck

It’s pipe thread on the caliper.

Try to tighten the fitting 1 more turn. If that doesn’t work, call Wilwood.

I Wilwoods in front with Wilwood stainless don't leak. I have an extra set of Stainless lines and can get you a part number.
On the rear though, I have drums with some after market cylinders. They seeped a little brake fluid so I returned them and got different ones. They also seeped fluid out of where the line attaches.
I wrapped some Teflon tape around the threads of the flare nut and they quit.
I didn't think it worked but it did.
It was just a seep though and not a leak

What was wrong with the 90 degree fittings that come with the Wilwood kit?

The 90s that came with a brake kit I purchased had a red sealer on them. I would lightly use some teflon sealer and then get after the fitting. If your not scaring yourself you didn't go far enough.
