No, you're not alone. I shake my head often at some people's pricing. I certainly can understand why folks walk away from the hobby, sometimes it's just not worth it ....
 
It is crazy, and will not get any cheaper because they keep getting bought at those crazy prices.
The chinese poop is so terrible. They have us by the you know whats.

It is very discouraging.

That's one of those vary rare special NOS inside door handle, only a few made!!!! LOL
 
Yup i feel ya talked to the car dealer dumbass about this 66 charger he wanted 25 grand firm told him well get use to that car you will have it forever

I don't think it's unreasonable.
Not for everyone, but to the guy who wants a real one, 100 bucks isn't a deal breaker.

The chinese poop IS terrible. I was at a Mopar show in Columbus last yr. I bought new handles for my 68 net. They looked great, but had chrome buttons. The vendor said i could switch them out with the original black plastic. Nope. Made differently. Then i discovered when the button is pushed in & released, the springs are too weak to return it all to the original position.
 
I moan about the price of NOS parts all the time. Saw a NOS right hand fender mounted turn signal indicator, and bought it for $125 plus S/H. Go figure. Had left one for 20+ years, other right hand were bid out what I'd pay.
 
thats great i have a bag of those that i thought was worth 20 bucks now i got a fortune lol
