Troxell's made some more progress on Audrey today. Pulled out the old shaggy carpet...floorboards will certainly need some attention but it could be worse. :)

Exhaust tips were installed as well. Does anyone know how far out they should protrude from the bumper or is it really user preference?

Not user preference. They look pretty close. There is a factory hangar that forces them to be correctly positioned.

RJS gave me some pointers and I decided to place an order with ACC for some replacement carpet for Audrey. Should ship before the week ends....we are getting closer to cranking her up again! Can't wait! :)

Let us know how the ACC carpet fits. I like ACC, and they even color matched the carpet for my T7 Bronze car (auto trans) from a sample I sent them, but the carpet I got for the 4-speed car was trimmed really narrow where it goes under the kick panels.

Factory.

I recall that question being answered a few years ago. I'll see if I can find the thread. IIRC it was about 1" past the bumper. Too far out and it looks funny but too close and it discolors the bumper.

Instrument Specialties wrapped up on my instrument cluster and it looks amazing! Can't wait to see it installed!

The refurbished alternator was installed.

We cut off the old torque box as it was getting a little bit thin. When the torque box was removed it was noticed that the splash pan / frame was a bit rusty. It appears that a little critter had made that a home at one point in my cars life. This appears to have aided in causing this specific area to rust. I'm glad we decided to cut the old torque box off to investigate.

Wow, that looks really nice. Is that an extra tach? For sale by any chance?

It's an aftermarket tach that was installed in the cluster when I sent it to them. They sold me a correct tach and rebuilt it. PM me if you're interested in it.

Have subframe connectors been welded in?

It's been a little while since I've provided an update. Things are progressing nicely.
