felt the need to make sparks today so I made a bracket for my fuel log. Pretty quick project but satisfied the urge.

I run vacuum carbs sometimes too. Just like to play with different stuff. The A12 base is flat across the bottom so it makes things a bit easier.

My buddy told me I would like the mechanical setup for my 4 spd

the drivers side fuel, inlets are ford type carbs , had that setup before . 390-406 ford tri power rings a bell . ford has there fuel pump on the drivers side . and ford did use mechanical 'd' mouthed two barrel holleys .

i did this with some vac secondary carbs . just progressive linkage . and no pods

Probably correct.. lol, while I have a torque flight in the rr currently it’s a 4 speed car. I plan on going back to a clutch sooner or later. Pumpers and 4 speeds are always a good combo!

Mechanical carbs
if those r the direct connection mechical carbs,,# 4782-83's those r great! I had them on my '71 barracuda that I sold a couple of years ago and they worked great..u can dial your speed/burnouts, whatever with your foot unlike vacuum units that will kick in when u r not expecting it and better get it under control...its what Chrysler should have done....basicly a triple pumper set up...

were would I find the year on the carbs? was told they are correct 70 carbs.

Outers are 4783’s, I’m using a 4412 (500cfm) center instead of the small 4782.

Vacuums you gotta check the list numbers. The mechanicals were over the counter carbs, you won’t be able to pin those down.

Nice job on the bracket. I made a custom bracket to mount my Magnafuel fuel log also but for my regulators.

no just like cool fuel , lol . trying to keep it away from the engine heat and still get those rocker covers on/off without removing the fuel lines . and note it a 1/2 from the tank to the pump , then 1/2 again to the fuel log and 3/8's to each carb . and this build is being done with used materials and parts through out . left overs and disgard'd parts . and yes i made everything you see , with my tool box and some shop equipment . it to get a fram filter can mounted here at the pump .
