I installed the hotchkins fast ratio pitman and idler arms on my 69 bee and the idler arm hits the torsion bar has anyone else had this problem before

I do not like that method of steering ratio change, modifying a parts length or angle. Its more expensive, but I prefer changing the gear box. Borgeson makes a great setup. You might send the Hotchkis parts back and try the PST parts, they're a lot less than Hotchkis. If they don't work, try the Borgeson box.

Welcome to the site. I would contact Hotchkis to ask about your problem and how to fix it?
 
Yeah, those items change the geometry a bit.If you want a easy fix.They make grease fitting plugs that screw in that would clear. I have used them before with header clearance problems.Grease 'um up then replace the fitting.Just a thought.
