Anyone have the correct direction the dash speakers point for a 69 RoadRunner with AM Track?

Would a picture of the speaker cover through the windshield help?

Taken apart Yes. Got the car as a roller so everything was apart. I put the 3 speakers in from a vendor on this site, only using the 2 outer with some 6x9s and a sub in the trunk. Sounds pretty good.

The screw holes allow for the cover to be installed in different positions. The search was for a dash that had not been disassembled before and still had the covers in the original direction.

Theres the dash that's going in my roadrunner, don't think It was ever taken apart, dirt/paint match the orientation.

I like Chrysler's method of just hole sawing the speaker holes, they did the same thing for defogger/convertible top switches.

I have seen three different dashes with original "shadows" and all three have had the grills mounted in different directions. What to do?

Pick your favorite. Factory workers didn’t really care which way they faced so long as they matched each other.

No pictures, but my 70 Charger has them mounted as pictured above with the taper going towards the outside of the dash. Meaning getting narrower towards the doors.

This makes sense because the dash frame also gets narrower at ends.
