I need help to determine what the "I92" means on my Satellite's core support stamping. I noted what I believe each of the others mean to the right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

6 Model Year: 1966 B-Series
7 Assembly Plant: St. Louis, MO
I92 Scheduled Production Date: ?
02635 Body Number off fender tag

First numbers on fender tag lower left corner. 308 tough to read, March week of the 8th.

My fender tag has "C02" rather than "I92" in that location. It has the correct "02635" though.

C I think is December built in the 2nd week. Hate saying saw it on gak GYC.
A would be Oct, B Nov and C Dec.

Gak was me choking. They used only 3 digits for built dates. So Oct was A instead of 10 etc..

Is it December 2nd? Mine is 720 which I thought was July 20th.

The number on my core support matches my fender tag, though - although it has an extra digit at the beginning of the number on the core support. Interesting that yours is partially different.

To the best of my knowledge 7 is July, 20 isn't the day the car was built but "the week of the 20th of July". Just looked at 1966 calendars and have my doubts about the week of statement because those days aren't Mondays. July 20, 1966 was a Wednesday and December 2, 1966 was a Friday. So much for week of theory .
Would like to know.

And I think the date is the date it's scheduled to be built, not necessarily the build date. The SO number is assigned when it's scheduled to be built - an estimated build date, if I'm not mistaken.
