I got my sure grip from the dealer . it was way cheaper than anywhere else. if you give them the mopar performance part number they can order it for you
same as the torsion bars . the diff cost me 450 Canadian and torsion bars 170.

How did those cal-track affect the handling?

How did those cal-track affect the handling?

I have only taken it down the street a few times because we got another storm and road salt. They are supposed to be the bomb for planting the tires. A guy I know from a Mustang forum has a 69 Mach Mustang with stock leaf springs and CalTracs running 9’s in the 1/4.

They minimally preload your leaf spring. They are beefy with Hyme joints. The front rubber leaf spring bushings get replaced with solid aluminum. I don’t anticipate any wheel hop. If you have enough power a nice wheelie is possible.

diagram in post 53- the mounting attachment is not the same top to bottom.

I found a set for a Dakota but I don't want to sacrifice road holding.

it does corners pretty well, but straight line WOT traction is definitely lacking.

They all mount the same. The diagrams are the same, not sure which one you are talking about. As far as handling they move on Hyme joints so I wouldn’t think they would bind. They are made with street/strip cars/trucks in mind. If you are running road courses IDK.

anyway cool car
I'm thinking of going to Nashau skateboarding . I m thinking the Belvederes should meet

I have been rolling the old girl around. Fun to drive actually the 273 does decent and sounds great. Just rolled 100k, not bad 2000 miles a year.
