1960s Imperial Owner's Experience?

I have a 67 Imperial Crown 4 door hardtop. I bought for $150 in '84. I had to pay twice as much for my parts car. I really like the 67-68's.

'72-73 aircraft carriers have always been my favorite.

Another car that I like the 4 door better than the 2 door.

pegs on the steering wheel were an option, right?

Thanks for all the responses, I went in another direction entirely and bought a 1966 Dodge Monaco 9-passenger station wagon! Still a Mopar man and now on both FBBO and FCBO. One of these days I will get an Imperial though....

I thought you people out West had Valet parking. In NYC those cars would take up 2 meters and in Manhattan that's $3 an hour per meter, unless you rather pay $40 for 2 hours in a parking garage. Gotta love manhattan.

There is something kinda cool about driving around on/in a big living room sofa.
Here is a pic of a twin to a car I had for a few years in the seventies. Mine even had a gasoline heater so it could get negative MPG.:)
