Can the connector that plugs into the back of the key ignition switch be repaired or can a new one be purchased?

So, I am guessing this can't be replaced or repaired? So, what does one do ?

I think the repair question depends on what needs to be repaired?

I'm pretty sure they can. I've replaced a connector in the firewall bulkhead connector as well as several others on different cars over the years. It's usually just a matter of figuring out where the locking tab is and how to depress it. A good close look with a magnifying glass usually helps.

P.S.
I've had no luck searching for the connector.

This is the connector plug.

Terminals will pop out. Use a pick to push down the notch, it'll depress a tang and allow it to be removed. Do you need the female terminals or the plastic piece?

Just the female connectors; the plastic piece is a little stretched out but still seems to hold onto the metal ignition switch. I will gladly pay you for them. I got them to pop out; they were badly distorted over the years. Thanks

Take a picture of one, I'm sure I have some. Are they zinc or brass?

If not I'll check my old harness tomorrow.

Once you get the wire and connector out and see exactly what kind it is, you'll find plenty available on Ebay. I think I got a package of 8 for the bulkhead connector when I needed one.
