I'm getting ready to restore my seat tracks but could not see how the tracks are separated. So, I found John's video series and thought I'd share. John, if you are a FBBO member, good job and thanks a lot.

I requested a final assembly video showing assembling to the seat and installing springs and adjusting wire. He replied that he will certainly do that.

I saw that in the comments. He shows the springs painted and installed and compares them to repop springs. He also shows the paint he bought and why.

I wish he would buy a tripod so he can have both hands free for future videos.

You mean 3 minutes.
No, I distinctly meant 30 minutes. You can remove your disagree and get a calculator.

Part 1 – 6:03
Part 2 – 3:24
Part 3 – 2:53
Part 4 – 3:28
Part 5 – 2:12
Part 6 – 2:34
Part 7 – 1:52
Part 8 – 4:58
Total – 27:40

This was a good video but it was weird that my seat tracks did not come apart the way the ones he did in the video. Instead of the bent over corner, mine appear to have a stamped indentation that stops the track and cannot be taken apart Does anyone else have this situation

Mine is different than the one in the video. I had to drill out one rivet on each track to slide the rollers out. You can also grind the base of the carriage bolt to get it to slide out then the tracks will come apart. So, you have to do one or the other to get it apart.

Good video series. I did mine about 2 months ago. The ones I did are for my 72 Charger Rallye.
