I am looking for front inner fender for my charger and I am having a very hard time finding some for the 73 charger I find a lot for up to 72 but not beyond so my question is this does anyone have a idea as to where I can find some or do you know if the 72s will fit just fine the only difference I can tell from the pics are the shock towers but how much can you really tell from a sales pic thank you for any info and knowledge you can send my way

I'll look tomorrow I might have some from a part out ! Msg Joel ,and ,yy1 they have tonnage!
As for 72-73 I'm not sure I don't see a problem the biggest difference is the wheel opening I believe the fender is the same besides that (except 71 marker light)

As for fitment of earlier year and later let's go to mister @Nacho-RT74 he is a wealth of knowledge

Between these guys I think we got you covered
Also isn't there a 73 being parted right now on here?

Inner fenders, No, need the correct ones. Passenger side changes too since 73 between BB and SB car.

Edited the previous post a bit.

Frame rail is at diff height too an makes a big diff too. UCA is not anymore attached to unybody since 73 like they are on earliers, battery area is way diff etc... you can fit anything you want with a hammer and welding machine thought LOL

Fenders itself can interchange, but they got their differences on some interior areas which don't make a perfect bolt on assembly, aside the wheel opening height and 71 sidemarkers.

thank you so much for the clearer reason of why it doesn't fit you wouldn't happen to know I might find a inner fender for sale I cant seem to find most places stop after 72 I don't understand why but I guess they have reasons lol

The first you need to restore a 3rd gen Charger is... patiente. A 73 and later... MORE patiente

@moparmarks uses to be a good resource for nice used parts. And keep alert all around for part cars all around, from ebay, craiglist, forums etc...

Thanks nacho!
Look for that parts car on here you might get lucky if not I'll check my stash
Don't feel defeated yet Joel has a few cars he's cutting up where about s are you to see who you might be closer to ?

i don't have whole 73/74 cars any more. Sorry.

Agree totally different between 71/72 and 73/74.

However should be same as 73/74 Plymouth.

Big block pass side has cut for spark plug access but SB can be cut to match.

I have a 73 se 400 car I am parting out. Let me know if interested in the inner genders. I don’t think they are perfect but haven’t looked them over real close. I have a post under parts cars.
