Since i really had no where else to turn to i came here to ask what the cheapest mopars from the 60s to 70s would be, im 15 and cant afford something like an a12 superbee or a hemi cuda so i need some input on how i can find a good car or what good cars have good prices.
Asking here is a good start. If there are Mopar car clubs or speeds shops in your area, go and ask around. Leave a card with contact info.
I don't know what your taste in cars is, so I won't suggest a specific model. I would say to keep searching for a body style you like, and save up to buy something pretty complete, unless you have a lot of time, skills and space to work on a project car.
On Mopar B-Body name cars like R/T, GTX, Superbee, RoadRunner are high end versions of the Coronet and Satellite 2-door cars. Those are often cloned to be like the higher end cars.
If you have never driven one of these cars, you might want to get a ride or test drive a car. Most of the earlier pre-71 cars are 4-wheel drum brakes, wing windows, and cable operated vents.
The '71 up cars, I think have front disc brakes, no wing windows, and vacuum operated Heater/vents. The throttle pedal is different too.
All the "B" bodies are pretty big and long compared to the average car today.
I just looked at what these cars are listed for and having sticker shock!
