I have an QA1 coil over conversion on my car. 69 dodge b body. question is now that the motor is in a 512 cu. in. 440 base. the springs that came with the kit seem to mushy. I want to go up on spring rate to stiffen the front end but not sure which way to go. a 440 weighs in at around 670 lbs. do I get 600lbs. springs or 350 lbs. springs. I have adjusted the springs which are a 7in spring to now a 6in spring. with no difference in the height. this will be a strip car only. now I don't have a clue what spring rate came with the kit. at the time they only asked if a b body or a body. kit is no longer available from QA1. I will post pics later

I would definately call them, though. Maybe they have an easy answer.

Ride tech has a very nice spring rate calculator on their site. Pretty sure 450 lb springs would be more than firm enough for you.

Great, I get a drive-by Disagree from R/T Boy 67 and he doesn't even offer an opinion/solution for the OP.
