Ok, so this is what I have. I am the second owner of this 1965 Belvedere I base 2 dr post car.
never been painted, sea green outside, 'Fawn' color interior. I am redoing a lot of things, but I just noticed something. look closely at the following picture.

The interior is painted the 'Fawn' color except for the inside of the driver and passenger doors. They are outside body color. Was everything painted separately?

I know for a lot of years there was a separate coding for "upper door panel" color.

if they painted the car with the doors open....easy to get that result.

My 73 has 85% of the door metal in white, but from about the lock knob back is green, the interior color, but only on the inside.
