Where does the clutch fork return spring attach? I know one end hooks on the fork. I don't see a hole for it. Does it just clip on it? Plus I see nowhere to connect it on the other end. Am I missing a bracket? Doing a 4 speed swap so I have never seen the setup on one of these cars before. This car is turning out to be a battle.

There is a notch on the fork for the spring to locate in. The other end goes to the bell housing, although mine (shown) is a scattershield so I just use the extra starter bolt hole. That is also an A body adjuster rod on mine, long story. but been there since 1979.

on a regular bell housing there is a small hole near the edge for it to hook to. can be a pain to get it pulled back and into the hole.

I can't seem to find the hole for the spring. Isn't it on the edge of the bell housing? I hooked it in a small gap where the starter mounts. If anyone has a picture of the bell housing out of the car with location that would be super. This car is fighting me one thing after another.
