For sale:
1971 B Body wiper switch knob with set screw. Damn near impossible to find. It needs new blue paint. Here's a link to the recommended paint to match.

Okay there's a hair line crack in the shaft tunnel (see last pic red arrows). This is due to PO(s) letting the set screw come loose and still using the switch, causing it to crack because the knob isn't fully seated to the shaft. Simple solution, leave the crack alone and make sure the set screw is fully tighten against the flat spot. The flat spot is NOT the defective area. Take some pipe thread dope and apply it to the set screw threads to stop it from coming loose. But if you cannot sleep at night knowing that you have an internal crack on your '71 B Body wiper switch, then take a dremel with a tiny cut wheel and clean out the crack. Then repair with a resin or epoxy.
