I just upgraded to 11.75 disc brakes and 15 ×7 inch rallye wheels for my 71 Road Runner. I forgot my 14 inch spare won't fit. Will a 15 inch standard steel work I would like to go used to save cash.

No I use a temp spare from a Jeep Cherokee it just fits.

I have a steel wheel from what I was told was a Dakota it is 6 inch wide it just doesn't fit. Looking for the original look.

I use a safety spare that is steel. Will get you home doubt the well is big enough for a 15" real tire.

i used a space saver spare from an 06 crown Vic, bolts up perfectly to a b body. Junkyard for $20.

I'm thinking there would be a problem running a smaller diameter tire on a Suregrip rear. It would be pretty hard on the clutches. Maybe move one of the fronts to the rear and use the smaller spare on the front?

I ruined a limited slip rear running a compact spare on a AMC back in the day. I was on an interstate and I never gave it a thought until it was too late.
