What’s the only or easiest way?

And do I need to remove the choke or center carb?

I took a old open end wrench and ground it thinner, then ground the outsides until I made it fit so it clears everything, works perfect.
Choke can stay if your just removing the inlet fittings.
 
Yeah, those are really tight in there. You could also grind down a boxed end 16-point wrench.
 
If you don't want them anymore, drill a hole into each threaded portion and put in a piece of rod. You should only have to turn it a bit to break them loose.

Stuff a wad of cotton in first if you're worried about metal chips in the bowls.

I ended up grinding down the box-end wrench to fit in there.
It worked perfectly.
I’m adding a fuel regulator and changing out the lines; going with black fittings at the same time.
