New Guy from the UK

Thanks for the Welcomes everyone - Much Appreciated!
Plans - Mechanically and body wise car is excellent with a nice patina.
BUT brakes are pretty terrible - Think it's low vacuum 'cos of the high lift cam, so looking to install vacuum reservoir in the short term. Then enjoy driving it, local shows and having a blast with my sons.
Longer term - Looking to sort the interior a little (door cards, dash, gauges) and run it at the Euro Mopar Nationals at Santa Pod Raceway next year.
Also, want to find out some history - Car is from Minnesota / Wisconsin and did some legs of the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2005 / 2006.
Oh, and the licence plates... Came with European plastic plates, but as it is 50 years old this year and classed as a Historic Vehicle ( no road tax or MOT!) here in the UK I can run it with old school black and silver metal plates so looking to get me some of hose from Santa Pod next weekend.
Thanks again for the welcomes aboard!

Welcome too our FBBO group and thanks for joining us, Jon. It seems you have acquired a fine ride and I'm sure the answers you seek are available here.
From the Pacific Northwest..:welcome:

Welcome to FBBO Limey from New Zealand

A shame that the UK is two years ahead with the Vintage plates....a 'D' plate would be more year appropriate. :)

Welcome from across the pond! Really enjoyed England! One of the best vacations I've ever been on. Just upset I couldn't catch a football match while I was there.

hi mate, where in the UK are you from? I saw your car advertised, looks a stunning example and not many on our roads.

Hi Guys - Sorry for not responding for a while. Been at the drag racing at Santa Pod where I met up with some Dutch guys running a 9.50 second '69 Road Runner. Pretty cool!

MoparLeo - Thanks man - Where can I find more about Hydroboost for the brakes? Is there anywhaere on the forum or elsewhere? The brakes are the only big issue for me on the car.

Elevensies - Hi There fella! I'm in Cardiff South Wales, so a long way from Lincolnshire! Really pleased with the car - It's exactly what I've been looking for for years. It's amazingly original (apart from the stroker conversion) and numbers matching. Was imported in 2015, and as far as I know underwent a major mechanical restoration until the guy ran out of funds and the restorer sold it on. So don't think it's been seen much in the UK, but planning to change that after doing a few bits of work on it.
What are you running yourself?
All the Best,
Limey
