Seems the 273's were not an option for the entire production period. If so, I'd like to know when it ended. Thanks!

I don't have a actual answer for you. When it comes to Ma Mopar never say never. Did they use all the 273's in 67? No because my 68 Valiant has a 273.But did they stop putting them in B body cars? Can't say. I did find that in 69 they did have them in Canada in a 69 Coronet that we parted years ago. I'm sure a numbers cruncher will have the answer out there.

My Owners Manual addresses the 273, but my Sales Literature makes no mention of it. We'll get to the bottom of this. Thanks!

They did have 273 in 67. My car has been in the family since new. The purchase paper work shows the 273.

Thanks for the feedback! Your engine compartment looks like new. I may have to have my engine pulled to make mine look close to yours. I have a Silver Special Coupe with 17K miles. Needs some TLC to bring it up to my standards.

This all started when I recently saw a Belv2/273 being auctioned in Auburn next weekend. I have a Window Sticker breakdown that lead me to believe the 273 didn't cross the finish line. The info. may not be inclusive. Making mountains out of mole hills is my specialty!

I bought a '67 Belvedere II that came with a 273 (correct VIN code ). The engine is now currently in my son:s '71 Valiant. The funny thing is, it has a hydraulic cam. Engine had definitely been rebuilt, so I figured they changed it over.
