Just a little rant: I picked up my boiled out, inspected, painted, with new OF hose radiator for my 1965 Coronet today. Told the owner: treat it like it was yours. Well the shop guy loaded it in my truck and we (wife driving-I'm in a neck brace and can't drive) drive the 35 miles back home. As I slide it out into the sunlight I see a crack in the filler neck and look inside and see corrosion build up around the tubes!
It appears I paid $75.00 for a paint job and 24" of hose.
WTF!
Mike

It is going back.

To bad you can't charge him $.59 a mile each way and $$ for your time.

San Jose radiator. Not defunct. $400 recore. Leaked like a sieve. Had to take it back out and take it back. He made good. Still a piss off. Not easy to find reliable service.

Bought a new heater from a local shop I've used many times tube that came through firewall to short. Had to remove heater and core, they had to put my old tank with pipes on new core.

Reliable service is easy to find (Glen Ray in Wi),but it doesn't come cheap.

I have used Glen Ray radiators exclusively on my cars great product, great service and great advice. They did a stock looking radiator for my 62 Dart 505 cid A/C car no overheating issues. They aren't cheep but in my opinion they are the best.

Bob at Glen Ray is the only one I will send my radiators to also. Pay for it once and you are done.
