Heater Valve, anyone have a better solution????

That's true, but since the only ones available are 45 years old, that brittle plastic wont last either.

The one that came with my Vintage Air Conditioner looked like a quality piece (electrically controlled), might just look at Vintage and Classic air and see what they have?

Well, the one I had that cracked came from Classic, it was part of some NOS ones they bought. You got pictures of one you have installed now?

I looked it up, it's servo operated so it won't work without the electronics to operate it.

Interesting my 73 is a February car and had 54,000 miles when I bought it.

It had the metal valve.

I think I remember having this discussion before, and there may have been a difference between AC and non AC. Wasn't one a vacuum operated valve?

Yeah, I made a bracket already that will adapt to one of the readily available ones, not going to pay that price.

I believe non-ac is/was the vacuum operated valve.
