Sled City tall Hemi scoop on 65 cars

I'm pretty sure Glasstek and Vfn both make tall superstock scoops. If they don' list them, call them.
 
Larry at S-C should have some pics of them installed. Get in touch with him, and I'm sure he can hook you up...
 
Do you need a tall scoop for clearance?
My carbs and air cleaners work with the standard 65 hemi hood scoop.

This is a VFN. 5" curved back for a 65. Straight out of the box. I think I paid $200 shipped. Got it last year.

J C Childres, I have one of my afx scoops in stock right now. It is the closest thing to what the factory made for their afx cars back in 1965 that you will find. It has studs hanging down for e-z mounting and comes with a center stud in the opening. If you go to my Sled City web site , get into the customer cars gallery and look for Mr 5&50 Plymouth and the Endangered Species 65 Dodge. They have that scoop.My site has all my contact info , and we are crankin out the parts.
 
Just got my 1965 AFX tall hood scoop from Sled City. Looks just like the original. Nice quality, I like the imbedded mounting studs. Great transaction and fast shipping. Thanks to Larry at Sled City.
