hi all
Tried to start the car today. No luck. I'm having a fuel issue. The pump keeps running, never quiets down. Pump is a aeromotive 11203 feeding a QF 750, dead head style. Fuel is running out of the vent horn on the rear bowl. Bad pump? Regulated at 6.5 psi

First off you need to fix the needle/seat problem.

Mike is correct. Your float is not closing the needle and seat so the pump continues to feed that rear bowl.

The float could stuck, something stuck in the needle and seat or float is way out of adjustment

Play with the needle/seat a few times up & down. Almost always corrects this. 6.5 psi is sure not too high. Work the needle/seat & it will settle down.

Thank you. So for my next issue, I rolled the motor through with no plugs in it to reprime every thing with fresh oil. The motor was already broke in on the test stand so not brand new. When that carb leaked it leaked in to the cylinders. when I rolled the motor it blew the residual gas out of the cylinders it was in. I was reading about fuel wash. Did I just ruin my engine? I didn't smell gas on the dipstick but if it made it to the cylinders I can assume its in the pan to . I should probably buy new oil. I will purchase a new needle and seat today.
