I'm converting my 318 Poly to 4 bbl in my 65. Now my accelerator cable is about 2 inches too short. What have other guys done other than buying a Lokar setup? I want something simple that won't like some Bosephus just cobbled it up. (Although that is in fact what will happen...)

Thanks. I was able to track down a cable pretty quickly from a friend in town. Thanks for the heads up.

Just thought I would let you know I have been using this Lokar throttle cable setup on my 63 since 2006. And its worked flawless for me racing and driving on the street. Good luck with yours what ever you use. Ron

383 man, I would like to order the throttle cable your using on your car. Could you give me a part number from summit for that cable? Thanks for posting that information. Tom.

I don't remember the part # as I bought this one in 2006. But I can tell you I bought it from Mancini and I just asked for the Lokar cable that will work with my 63 Sport Fury. It was the kind that I cut to the lenth I needed as it came very long to fit most any car and I believe I bought the mounting bracket on the carb separate as I don't think kit came with the cable. The bracket is also a Lokar part. Hope that helps some. Ron

We use the stock 6 cylinder cables. Plenty long enough even with tall manifolds.
